Alex is a data-driven leader with expertise in marketing strategy, analytics, and optimization. Alex brings 10+ years of experience in SaaS, along with a passion for fostering diverse communities. As a former Early Career Committee Engagement Lead at DVS, she led community engagement initiatives and connected with members beginning their data viz careers.

Brian Cort has 20+ years in data visualization, including director roles at Uncharted (creating visualizations for industry, academia, and government) and Pienso (building interactive AI tools). He helped start the DVS NYC chapter and holds a master’s in machine learning.

Cedric is a data analyst working in the education nonprofit space. He first developed an interest in data visualization while conducting research in his undergraduate studies and deepened his skills through self-directed learning. After participating in the Data Visualization Society’s mentorship program, he took on a leadership role in the Early Career Resources Subcommittee to help make resources more accessible.

Isobel Parkes is a data practitioner and visualisation designer based between London and Hong Kong. She is a trained experimentalist with a PhD in Behavioural and Systems Neuroscience from University College London, and has spent the last decade working in academia. Away from her desk, she is an avid reader and occasionally a gardener.

Eleni is an analytics and data storytelling leader with 18 years of experience building and leading analytics, impact measurement, and operational excellence for global organizations including Meta and American Airlines. She is passionate about inclusive communities, data ethics, empowering people to turn data into insight and action, and mentoring practitioners.

Elina Oikonomaki is an interdisciplinary data visualization designer and full-stack engineer working across industry and academia. Her work focuses on geospatial and multimodal visualization, creative coding, and human–AI collaboration. She has worked at startups, taught at MIT and Northeastern, and holds dual master’s degrees in Design and Computation and Computer Science from MIT.

With a background in data strategy, information communication, and foreign policy—particularly in transnational crime and corruption—Jennifer’s professional journey complements her love for true crime, middle-out economics, self-help, and reality TV. She has experience in both public and private sectors, developing training and programs for the Foreign Service Institute and the Congressional Research Service. She designed an R/Shiny training program for CRS analysts and helped establish a data viz community of excellence. More recently she developed a system-wide data literacy program for the Federal Reserve and co-leads the Tableau Community of Practice.

Kim Bruschi founded STORIED Visual Communication Studio, specializing in presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization for B2B clients. She blends design, copywriting, and marketing expertise to transform complex ideas into compelling visual stories. Based in New Jersey, Kim balances client work with mom-life and is always hunting for her next great read.

Obinna Iwuji is a Creative Developer and data storyteller with a background in advertising and global partnerships. His practice blends strategic communication with deep study of data visualization, using design, technology, and performance to make complex information accessible, engaging, and culturally relevant across industries and contexts.

Tiffany Tay is a CPA and former PwC data visualization champion who led the rollout of Tableau and Power BI in her business unit. She now supports nonprofits with analytics, product management, and financial leadership, leveraging her passion for data visualization to advance social impact.

Brittany is a executive assistant who is passionate about helping others. An avid learner, she constantly strives to expand her knowledge and help others thrive. Outside of work, you’ll find her baking, traveling, and taking photographs in nature.

Jane is a designer turned marketing specialist with a passion supporting other dataviz practitioners. She has previously shared her own career journey through confereneces and publications such as Datafest and Nightingale. As a Communications Manager, she brings her previous work experience in design and marketing to help the community grow.

Building on her former position as a literature teacher and 5 years as an art director in a creative agency, Julie Brunet is currently an independent data & information designer. She believes in the accessibility of information through design and the virtuous role data designers can play in a society shaped by the ever-increasing amount and complexity of data. She also has a tender point for data-humour, data-collage and other creative data-shenanigans that she exercises on her Instagram.
